What does buying off the plan mean?

Buying off the plan is a great way to buy.  It’s a process whereby you select the plans of a house and the block that best suits your needs.  At The Square at Woodville West, there is a great selection from two to three bedrooms, and single and double storey.  Each house plan has specific blocks that are suited to the individual houses.

How do I pay for an off the plan purchase?

When buying a house at The Square, an initial deposit of $5,000 is required but there are no progress payments during the building process.  This means you do not start paying off your mortgage until your house reaches practical completion.  Other developments often require progress payments as the builder reaches certain milestones during the construction of your house. This means you have a longer period of time to save up for a new sofa or a new dining table!

What’s included in The Square’s off the plan purchase?

Buying off the plan at The Square comes with added bonuses that often are not included in other developments.  These bonuses include garden landscaping and irrigation, fencing and even your clothesline.  When you move in, all you need to worry about is moving in and transforming your house into a home.

Who looks after the building documentation for Council etc?

All the Council documentation, including Planning Approval and Building Approval applications are competed and submitted by Renewal SA.

Do I need to manage the build?

No. Renewal SA will liaise with the builders and contractors regarding the progress of your house. Renewal SA will also keep you in the informed the whole way, from the slab pour to handover of your keys.

What are my options with the interior fit-out?

There is a choice of standard finishes in either a Coastal or Urban palette.  Plus, there are upgrade options available.  An interior designer has carefully selected all interior finishes and fixtures; this makes the process of choosing the look and feel of your home so much easier!
